The Latin Chicas had the honour of being invited by the event organisers to perform!

The event was about promoting healthy bodies and healthy minds, with non-stop Jazzercise activities as well as booths promoting health and fitness products and services.

The Latin Chicas were one of the highlights of the event, showing off their dance moves at the end of the event.

The World Bachata Festival is an annual event with salsa and bachata dance workshops and dance performances! The workshops and performances feature teachers and dancers from all over the world.

 

In 2017, we took up the challenge of performing at this international event. Our team comprised members from different classes, so we had to work to find a way to rehearse with the entire team as the date approached.

 

For many of our dance team members, this was their first dance performance ever, so to perform in front of a large international crowd was a huge challenge, which everyone took up and did extremely well!
